Combine information about cell activity with the body's structure. FDG is a glucose-like tracer; PET shows where it collects, while CT helps locate that activity in the body. Some cancers are not readily seen, while inflammation can also show uptake. This examination involves radiation and cannot replace all standard cancer screening. Preparation, including fasting and diabetes management, is arranged with the medical team.映りにくいがんがある一方、炎症でも薬剤が集まることがあります。被ばくを伴い、通常のがん検診をすべて置き換えるものではありません。絶食や糖尿病のお薬などの準備は、医療チームと調整します。
